Fusion 11 mil Soft Polyester is water and tear resistant and has the excellent durability of polyester, but also feeds, prints, folds and handles print finishing processes like paper does. Compared to other polyester sheets, Fusion Soft Polyester is much easier to print digitally because it prints STATIC FREE to assure excellent runnability and print finishing performance.
Our heaviest 11 mil caliper is very durable and tear resistant. Popular applications include menus, placemats and covers. This product is very stain resistant too, making it perfect for menus, because if you get a spill and catch it quickly, simply clean with warm water and mild soap. Restaurant owners tell us that the rich, velvety tactile sensation draws diners into their printed content and makes a high quality impression compared to cold, plastic laminated menus.
As our Fusion Soft Polyester business grows, we are happy to announce two new sizes for our 11 mil Fusion Soft Polyester caliper. As we know, 8.5x14 (legal size) menus are very popular. Thus, we now stock 10x15 sheets in 100 sheet packs to give you a much better yield, while still allowing for full bleed trim, at a significant cost savings. In addition, due to Fusion Soft Polyester’s great folding characteristics, we are also now stocking 13x27.5 sheets in 100 sheet packs. This means you can get a great layflat fold on a tri-fold menu without sacrificing the nice 11 mil caliper body.
